Sooo, I'm just curious who all else remembers this show? I just found it on DVD, after looking for it a while back and it not being out yet, so I just had to grab it, and now i'm all excited, cause I used to love this show.
Any one else out there a fan of this awesome cult Bruce Campbell Western/Sci-fi/Comedy?

It was pretty good. Nice little "modern" take on the cowboy.
Too bad it was on Friday nights on Fox, the "Death Zone" for most shows. Only X-Files and Millennium survived that time slot for more than one year. Lots of S-F related shows ended up dead here: Brimstone, Freakylinks, MANTIS, Strange Luck, Firefly, Harsh Realm, VR5, etc...

Yeah. Though, the X-files didn't really get as bad a deal. X-files was on at 8 rather than 7. I'm just glad Brisco County Jr got a full season and was able to tie up all its plot-ends into a nice contained story. The strange thing is that the first season of X-files was sorta crap too. No idea how it survived, when Fox had no faith in it to begin with, and had a ton of money invested in Adventures. Maybe that was why though.. X-files was so low-budget that they could afford to give it a second season shot.
Fox just amazes me though.. that they're able to make the same mistake over and over and over and over and over and over, and yet continually blame the shows rather than their policies and slot placement/juggling.

I used to love this show! Between Jr. and Lord Bowler, even though I was fairly young, I never stopped laughing. I didn't realize it was on DVD, though... Thanks for letting us know!
