IMVU Avatars

Right, so in the past we've had South Park avatars and Dream Avatars (from Gaia Online). I recently started playing a little with IMVU (though I've been too shy to just start randomly talking to someone, which defeats most of the purpose for it, but ... ermm.gif ) and had the idea earlier today to see if I could make something that looked like Tsuki. And I got surprisingly close to how I've always thought she looked like when she was younger, which made me happy enough that I wanted to share! happy.gif Though you can't see it in the picture, she does have bare feet as well, which is accurate for Tsu.

Unfortunately, these are more difficult to create than other avatar things we've had on the forums in the past. You'd need to register an account and download the program and then be able to go look around the catalog and use the "try on" option to load up everything in the dressing room and take a screen shot. Still fun, though! I modified the following picture a bit and made it Tsu's character picture on her website profile page.

If anyone is feeling bored/curious enough to try it and needs/wants to register, you can do so from the main page (or, if you want to say I referred you, this should work (yay, shameless can't-hurt-to-ask links halo.gif)).

Very nice, but I saw a link where you could create one without registering, anyone knows which link it is?

Psh, I think you're just hallucinating.

Zenji would've told y'all if I'd've died ... probably. happy.gif

Whee, I almost talked with Kharaen? igetit.gif We'll have to try that again and hopefully not fail the next time. happy.gif

Ooo, if there is something out there to create things without registering, that'd be nifty too. I know there's some sort of program thingie for developers to download and make things in and preview them, maybe that's it?

No idea. Someone maked Charune with it, though.

That program is actually kinda fun. I wish I had some skills and I would definatly love to try my hand at designing something cute. I had an account and blog through them, but I could never find anything to talk to with the people who would randomly IM me.

Been there lately? I remember you could only chat with one person at a time, which sucked. I remember it as being a very, very stripped down verison of Second Life, There or something.

Not 100% sure how/if it works, but there is an option available for Group Chat, to invite more people.

Holy crap. It's Tsuki!
Vix2007-05-20 02:01:04
I must echo the sentiment!
Tsuki2007-05-20 05:21:59
Mass hallucinations, definitely.

And/or .... um, hi! wub.gif

That was something completely different. I don't know the URL, but it was nothing to do with IMVU.

Meh. Registered but the download won't even start for me.

Best I could do for Lucan. Scales are too light though. Meh...
