Okay, this is insane. Due to Lvl 3 eq recovery, Moondancers can aeon whore people with a bunch of ents and a couple of hexes thrown to hinder you making it seem 'impossible' to escape. Any idea how to survive this? What should be the do's and don'ts in fighting them?

Also, compare to tarot aeon and moondancer's aeon, I'd say moondancer's aeon is much much better if you're a mugwump, Aslaran is only up to lvl 2 balance and with the help of hyperactive, you may aeon faster than a mugwump does but won't have the power to perform an instantkill.

I think part of the problem is just that bards aren't very good yet. I wouldn't expect to be able to stand one-on-one against a similarly skilled moondancer. That said, yes, MDs can aeon very quickly. Your aeon curing looks like it has a few problems - you cure it slowly, and ended up doing several other things while you were aeoned. For the most part, all Tchaichlao did was wane and let the ents attack. A good start was to kill the ents, but the brownie (even though it is annoying) is not one of the worst ents. I would go for pixie or crone first. I'm not very familiar with bard skills, but if you have a way to turn the entourage against them, most lower-tier combatants have a hard time recovering (dominate order entourage attack me, dysloyalty, etc). Failing that, you should gust the MD out so they lose the entourage - there's a chance they might have channels up and re-summon immediately, but most MDs don't bother using channels, and even if they do re-summon you haven't lost anything, and you've gained a little bit of time to cure up. Mugwumps are fast, but if you have any hindering abilities they should have a hard time aeon-locking you. The problem is that bards do not really have any dangerous offensive abilities, so the MD can basically just ignore your offense.

You should make an if before every action you perform, checking if you are aeoned. If you are, don't do the action. That alone helps me a lot now, I just cure out of aeon without any distraction. Also, your aeoncuring seems a bit messed up, you seemed to get the aeonmessage around thrice every time you were aeoned.

Hexes Transcendent Willpower

Can't aeon him though.

1. Killing Fae won't work, it was in the arena so they'd stay anyway, only very low on health - which doesn't matter, because they'd still be unkillable.
2. If she aeons you once, removing only the speed defense, SHIELD UP. If you just drink quicksilver, she'll aeon you the second time before speed kicks in - you have to shield or leave.
3. Mugwumps are squishy. The problem is to squish her before her offense eats you up - and Bards are a bit low on the offense side for the time being... what's your third skill? Tarot?

This isn't anything new. Just cure better.

Also, you can't kill ents in the arena.

1. does work, they go to sleep. asleep means they won't do anything.
3. bards are squishier. Tchailo has moon defs at least.

anyways it looks mostly like it's youre curing that's at fault here. if you're going to stop all action and focus primarly on curing aeon at least stop your other reflexes too. you can also tumble.

They can't be killed, but they can be 'knocked out' of the fight.

True, but the 'life threatening situation' isn't going to cost you some 5,000 willpower to cure through. Unless you're getting ganked or are just doing really terribly overall.

You cured poorly. Her offense wasn't optimized, that fight should have been over much sooner if she had used proper sequences of hexes. Diagnose more often.
