Lately I've been thinking about some of the coolest times I've had in Lusternia. I think it's only sane that I analyze what sort of fun I've had in a game I've clocked over two months of my life in. List three of your greatest moments in Lusternia. Moments that you will never forget long after you stop playing. Here are mine:
1. Escaping Xion with Aiakon (when it was first released, and it was on a countdown mode to self-destruct) then watching over thirty people die in the implosion as we smoothly sailed away in the Geo aethership.
2. When Tully bailed me out of the deep hole I dug myself in Mag, a random act of kindness saved me from quitting the game or moving to another Org. (long story)
3. Influencing for +12 hours straight for an Estelbar revolt... even though we ended up losing, it was a challenge I won't forget. It included many cans of coke, carpal tunnel, and lots of pizza :]
List yours!

1) When Noola got elected to Magister of the Aquamancers, even though I wasn't sure anyone would even vote for me.
2) When Noola finally became an offical Tanestra. I'd given up on ever seeing anything other than "not active in any family" and now I'm familyfied!
3) This one time when Southgard was up for influencing and it was an odd time and nearly everyon was focused on the other village, so there were only a few people even trying in Southgard and I actually got to sway a few villagers.

It's a short list, so far, but here you are.
- The Beauty Seal. It was completely unexpected, and considering how good the other entries were, more than a little surprising. It's completely shaped my character's roleplay since, and she's a very different person than she would've been otherwise. It's given me a focus, a foundation to build on, and I'll never forget it.
- Meeting one very special friend. In- or out-of-character he's just phenomenal, and both my life as a player and Amarysse's have been enriched by knowing him. He's behaved in all the ways a friend should, and is one of the best roleplayers I've encountered in Lusternia, both for depth of character and commitment to his role. If a book could be written about how to roleplay convincingly and engagingly, in my opinion he and his equally charming companion would be the ones to pen it.
- The "return" of Isune, in which Ayridion got to play Her "Champion" against the dastardly plot of Morgfyre. Classic dramatic story, beautifully and cleverly played by the participants. The Legion's followers were brilliantly cruel, Glomdoring was represented in perfectly (and entertainingly) enigmatic fashion, and Ayridion and those on His side were wonderfully stalwart in their resolve. It was the first event I had a chance to participate in, and the most memorable.

1. Becoming friends with Kharaen IC and OOC, with all the ups and downs.
2. When my honours list started requiring a MORE to see all of it.
3. The week I spent releasing gorgogs non stop.

1. Getting the Seal of Knowledge. The entire Ascension Event was lots of fun and it was great to be a part of it, despite losing. It also helped me consider some aspects of my character's roleplay and it's nice to go down in the history books for something, especially a quiz!
2. Meeting some of my earlier IC friends. I know this isn't precisely one "moment", but it was a period of time early in my character's life when I was meeting tons of new people and we did lots of fun and stupid little roleplay/hunting/guild stuff. Too bad most of them are gone now
3. Similar to a few others, a real big influence fight in Stewartsville. It was back when villages revolted one at a time, so everyone was there. It was very long and very intense. Alyara and I were two Geos that were there most of the fight so Daevos was constantly getting us on demesne work and saving our hides from Willowisp summons and such. It was tons of fun (not even sure if we won) and I got to see a lot of group fighting and skills I hadn't before (like Rage coven, or whatever it's called).

1. First one I can recall comes from open beta in Celest. It was very early on and the Pool was -1000 power and no one really knew any good way to change that. We had just barely discovered essence on Water and so we started making trips up there to take on starsuckers and leeches. Dumihru led the expedition, we got a little lost on the river and most of us ended up dead since we were only around level 20 or 30 at the most. We did recover about 8 essence though which was considered to be a successful trip!
2. Joining the Serenwilde and having Ibaesha and Tsuki teach me all about the nature spirits and the commune's history and traditions. I had to spend time getting adjusted to a lot of things and taking on a new kind of role, having never done the forestal thing in any other game. Becoming the Power Minister was probably the culmination of that transitionary period. That was probably the best time I've ever had in Lusternia.
3. Being elected GM in Hartstone was pretty cool too. I really liked the job and how much flexibility it offered. My only regret comes from examining just how I was playing the character's role at the time and seeing how it fell short of what I wanted. Ibaesha has always been the standard by which I judge what a good GM should be like and I don't think I came anywhere near that.

1. My 2 hit assault on Thoros, causing a behead.... which started the (not-so) famous Thoros/Ildaudid wars.
2. The whole alterworld, in which I was engaged to Shayle 3 times, had Nifilhema and Luciphage as pets, was killed by Charune's beercan, and was subsequently killed by Shayle/Charune (I would run Charune would summon me back, Shayle would lay the smackdown)
3. The embarressing wedding of Reiha and Ildaudid as performed by Ixion.

1. Being sent on a mission to spy on Glomdoring for Magnagora.
2. Becoming too successful as a spy and becoming GM.
3. Shayle having two Kids, while being a GM.

1. This might seem like a little thing, but it warmed my heart so much and made me really, really happy as a player. Often it's the little things that tend to do that. Anyway, in the recent Lisaera-coming event, Iola was sitting with Selene and decided to give her storytime to help pass the time. When Iola had finished the story, Selene smiled at her. It's small...but it made me really happy.
2. Influencing Shanthmark. It was my first and thus far only revolt, yet I somehow managed to influence four or so denizens without having a clue what the hell I was doing. Loads of fun.
3. Getting GR3. Hey, my character's still young. It's exciting to me

1. Getting Champion after Yini gave me a lottt of training before she left. I still miss her soo much. Of course, I probably had gifted Wildarrane, but I was the best the guild had!
(Or, alternatively, getting Heir after Shorlen poofed. Though that kinda went bad when I went to Ali...)
2. Coining the term 'bugger'. It's mine, damnit. MINE.
3. My very first fight after getting Palisade. Having just switched from manual fighting, I was wondering why the hell I was still alive. I was even more shocked to see I won.

They all rank number one to me, so in no particular order:
1. Getting married to Ahnn and having Viravain come down to finalize it, even after Lucan thought She wouldn't be happy about it since Ahnn used to be a Seren.
2. Getting Lucan drunk the first time with Dsiri. Fun times. (Even if Maelvin did get us caught and in trouble with Shayle and Xenthos.)
3. Finally becoming a Warden after many IG years of hard work and frustration.

Aren't systems wonderful? I loved it when I finally got one set up.

We both know it was a good RP opportunity.

1. Getting champion when my character was only 17, Dae wasn't even expert shadowbeat but Aranya gave him basicly everything she had to help out, might not seem like much but it was a special moment for me and she was an amazing mentor.
2. Being accepted into Viravain's order, most memorible day of Dae's life
3. Bloodbonding Arel, then noticing I didn't capitalize our name when it said in big bold letters on the help scroll "remember to capitalize your name" I was so ticked off... but the admins were nice enough to change it for me.

1. Starting off the wonderful "rillaen" family, waiting to become the "Rillaen" family and then enjoying trying to find girls for Arel and Daedalion.
2. Joining Elostian's Order with and meeting the non-Gloms in it. Plus, Elo is an awesome divine who is really interesting and extremely unique.
3. Getting drunk in the guild hall with Valarien and Veyda for friendship bonding, having Viravain pop in to join the festivities, and not being able to walk or talk because of her divine cognac. Thank God for Dramatics Sober.

1. Wiping Serenwilde and Celest clean except for Tuek's store in about an hour and a half.
2. The time I managed to get into Moondance tower and landed an entire magnagoran expeditionary force in there promptly until, about an hour later, someone brought guards.
3. That time I got into the Divine Havens and nearly stole from Hajamin. Then he zapped me and I dropped it.

1. The early days in Magnagora with a load of people who mainly aren't around anymore. (Just makes me realize that I've been playing here for far too long )
2. All the great people I've come across over the years I've been playing here (Most of my beloved Bellator clan and certain people in Glomdoring and the Harbingers as well, I'm sure you have a vague idea who you are.)
3. Joining Viravain's order and becoming her champion was pretty cool too. Especially considering how the old Viravain completely loathed Kaervas.
