p fullplate
This most impressive of all armours is a work of art. Designed specifically for
the owner of it, it is perfectly forged and fitted. Every plate in it
interlocks, and all are angled so as to optimally deflect blows. Every plate is
highly decorated with etchings and inlaid metals, but the functional integrity
of the suit is completely intact. Behind the metal plates are a layer of chain
mail, and then heavy quilted padding.
It is cursed and may not be removed when worn.
It is protected against fire, cold, electricity and magic.

So was fullplate ninja upgraded or something? Or did I miss an announce post? It certainly never had proofings when i've checked it before. Tried looking around for other fullplate wearers to see if they had this too but didn't find any.

That design is fugly.

And that must be a bug.

Yessss...keep that, give proofed fullplates a decay time and I am in heaven.

Proofed Plates! Oh baby nothing gonna stop us Forgers now!

Crafted almost entirely from platinum, this suit of fullplate has been
designed expressly to fit the body of a loboshigaru warrior. Dozens of
carefully shaped plates overlap each other, angled to deflect strikes
away from the body. The plates have been secured to each other and
placed over a layer of thick chain mail, which is worn on top of a thick
layer of cloth. A simple extension of the chain mail allows the wearer's
mail to also gain some protection from the armour, while remaining
relatively comfortable.
It weighs about 180 pounds.
It bears the distinctive mark of Squire Valarien Moonbane, of the Armies of
Light.
It is cursed and may not be removed when worn.
It is protected against fire, cold, electricity and magic.

Me too. Woot?

"allows the wearer's mail to also gain some protection"?

Shimmering faintly with an almost otherworldly glow, this suit of
renegade full plate armour is the culmination of many days of hard work.
The dark steel and crushed gems make it so that one is never quite
certain what colour the armour is. Light dances off the bits of onyx and
sapphire that have been fused into the metal, but the surface is as
smooth as can be. The breastplate is quite slim for such a design,
allowing the wearer unusual speed, and upon closer inspection, it
appears that it is jointed in several places, allowing it to flow much
like a shirt. Inscribed so faintly that it can barely be seen, the image
of a large crow and stag have been etched onto the back of the suit, the
two locked in an eternal struggle.
It weighs about 180 pounds.
It bears the distinctive mark of Archon Richter Carthan.

It's so the "Y HALO THAR" letters can be saved for all eternity. Duh.

What specs are you Athalas and Valarien? Moon/night I assume? Perhaps it's a bug/change concerning drawdown and nightkiss res.
Clise2007-06-12 10:55:02
I don't think so. I think it has something to do with the plate being cursed.

Could be. I have it, and mine is cursed.
