Well, I've been doing the fink quest in Newton, and I got up to the point where Mother Mucka gives you a pouch for stink fish so she can make the Doom Jelly.

I went into Lolliprin, killed a stink fish, and tried to put it into the pouch with the command PUT STINK FISH INTO POUCH. I got the message "The gods have not designed a partially filled pouch of stink fish spice to be able to hold anything."

I tried some other commands- FILL POUCH WITH FISH, OPEN POUCH, PUT 5 FISH IN POUCH, TWIST POUCH, PULL POUCH, PUSH POUCH, etc. No luck. I also tried to put a live fish into the pouch, but I couldn't even pick it up.

Upon asking for a hint on the Newbie channel, someone told me to 'PUT in .' So I used the individual numbers of the fish and pouch. This still didn't work, and I was thoroughly stumped.

I'm not sure if this is a problem only I'm having, or if I'm not using the right command to fill the pouch. I wouldn't have posted here if I wasn't so desperate. Can anyone please help me?

I never could figure the fink quest out, but I did manage to make an alt who completed the gnome quest.

Whenever I came close to finishing either quests, something was always missing.

The forums were dead-ish, and turned one post into 8. A moderator decided not to delete the 7, but instead to merge them into one.

could someone pm me a hint about the stink fish spice as well. I can't seem to figure this one out, and i've got a headache at this point.

Not just anyone can dry stink fish. Go looking around Lolliprin.

My problem is with the springnal. How do you work it? I have the filled bucket, but even Fartokan doesn't know how to use it.

Then look more closely at the springnal itself. There's got to be some action you can perform on it if it's to work, right? Well.. all you have to do is figure out what on the springnal needs to be manipulated in order to make it work. Once you figure it out, you'll likely facepalm irl.
