Okay, following this is my tracert. Pretty obviously, above.net screws me badly, and that lag gets me to the point where I think "Why bother to log on, can't even bash, not talking about PvP"

Okay, can I somehow manually redirect my own route, or can I somehow -avoid- going over above.net? Or is this something I can like, only change with changing provider?

You can't bypass above.net, unfortunately, as that is what IRE connects to.

I actually have an incredible connection, but I get these huge spikes.

Unfortunately, it always timesout on the hops from the 1st to the last, so only the 1st hop and the 18th hop show up. Anyone know how to counteract this?

Mine goes through an "alter.net" but no "above.net." I'm confused...
