Back to The Real World.

I was looking at Viravains profile and noticed she started a topic that had a Final Fantasy Tactics Advance Screenshot...

So I propose LTA! Lusternia Tactics Advance, for when you cant be at your computer!

Game features:
-Various Guilds
-Alignment and No Alignment settings
-Partial cross classing (No Wicca, Athletics, and Psionics)
-Various battleground with terrain effects
-Feats system
-Advanced afflicting combination system (more so than Final Fantasy)
-New classes and skills! Try Summoner, Serpents, Morpher, Time Mage, and new tertiarys!
-Skill points to buy new skills
-Artifact purchasing
-Multiple minigames and side games (Blackjack, Figurines, fishing, Roulette, Lotteries, and more!)
-Standard and advanced combat level monsters

This is just some of the stuff. Although could be Iron Realms Tactics Advanced if we needed more skills or something.

Unlike the Final Fantasy version this would have Ego, and Power added, although they could be changed for Iron Realms TA. This would also limit what skill combinations you could take as well giving a third skill option.

I have alot of time and I want to take up game design, programming, and more!

Also wondering about a CCG + TCG (who needs warcraft cards when we can have Lusternia tongue.gif)

So post if you have thoughts, I just got new notebooks and could use something else to do when not online.

Have fun in your posts!

All I gotta say is:

Verithrax, Scourge of the gods - URB - Legendary Creature - Human Bard - Whenever three points of damage are dealt to a player or creature by a red spell, change the target of that spell to Verithrax. /"I reject the gods and their machinations!" - Last words/ - 1/1

Dont know about 1/1 might not do Magic style.. might be like a battle card style with cost to use attacks, although its all in theory.. card game plans:
-Order
-Influencer
-Raid effects

For instance a Verithrax might have 7 health and have him have bard attack skills.. etc!

Think world of Warcraft kinda, but with like 3 Heros and no allies.. other than ents or something!

That was a joke. It basically means that whenever someone casts Lightning Bolt and Verithrax is in play, it automagically targets Verithrax.

Will call it... Divine irritant: all

Except the way you worded it isn't even legal. Damage can't be dealt until the spell resolves, at which point there is no spell to retarget, so the ability does nothing. It should read, "Whenever a red spell or ability would deal three damage to a creature or player, it deals three damage to Verithrax, Scourge of the Gods instead." I'm not sure you can actual retarget the spell based on what would happen if resolved, since the game has no way of looking ahead and finding out.

First rule of M:tG--where a card and the rules come into conflict, the card always takes precedence.

First rule as published in every rulebook!

EDIT: And I know that I lost cool points with my lovely lady for making this post and she hasn't even read it yet. I hope you're happy. tongue.gif

That doesn't mean cards can't fail to work within the rules - lots of them get ditched during design and devel because of it. Sylphas' wording is templated properly too.

My version is obviously what you would write on a playtest proxy with a felt-tip and slip into someone's test sealed deck surreptitiously to see what happens.

I could see it working.
