Well, since the link alone didn't generate the responce I was expecting....


The link is a book review of a book written by a French Literature professor who explains how, as a profssor of literature, he doesn't have time nor the interest to read all the books he is expected to teach about. And his defense of why this is a ok, and how people thinking it is not ok, is opressive, and harmful.

I think the book would better be called "The Culture Delusion"

That article was a bit difficult to get much of any use out of. Presumably the book itself would be more interesting.

I thought the article was pretty straight forward. But one has to wonder if the author of the article even read the book!
