Anyone have a link, or one they'd send me? I'm not new to IRE, but I'm totally new to Lusternia. After having a curing system in Achaea, old habits die hard, and I die to gnomes because i forget to manually sip

I have just come from Achaea too. If you want a free system you can use Ethelon's, it's outdated, but with few tweaks you'll have an autosipper and it will cure you. The downside is that it is in MUSHclient. In VBscript. Or you could try making your own system, there are a lot of affliction and curing messages on the Combat Guide Forum. And if you get stuck with something, you can always look at the Achaea system for ideas.

I'm considering making Palisade (for zMUD) free/open-source once I complete my CMUD system. It would come with basic help files and no other support, though. I'll let you know if I do decide to do it, but it would be at least another month yet.

I'm very much considering stripping the system I'm working on into a base without much of the illusion protection for free distribution.

Ditto!

Hell... I'm half tempted to PAY for Palisade.

I've been sitting here, thinking about designing a system of my own (since coming by 70 credits would be, to me, a hefty CASH investment) but honestly... what a CHORE!

Doing EVERYTHING via triggers is just... GAH!

I was (still am) tempted to go the route of using MudBot with iLUA, but I'm not sure how I would use that to help fire zMud triggers without passing extra values that zMud would then have to gag.

Yuck.

*sigh*

Well, and my sheer newbishness keeps me from really having any idea HOW to make a curing system.

Need to go study afflictions/unaffliction list. >.>

Thirded... I coded a system a while ago, but it didn't turn into anything that worked.

Okay, does anyone a list of zmud systems that cost less than 100 credits?
Daganev2008-01-03 06:37:19
Catarin has a free cmud system, its great once you get it working smile.gif

I paid 30$ for zmud back in may of 05.. I'm not buying another mud client from same dude, he can just eat me.

Palisade is 30 credits without support or upgrades (which I admit at this point are getting sparse, as my free time is much more limited) and 70 credits with support and upgrades. Keep in mind, too, that the support and upgrades are limited to the lifetime of the system (not my lifetime or your lifetime, as many people tend to think), and the lifetime of the system is limited to when CMUD finally works completely and I get the new system out the door.
