I was going to put this in Lack of Raves, but I decided it wouldn't be nice to take over the thread.

We all know Lusternia is better than any other IRE game, but just why is that? Is it the mechanics? The admin? The players themselves? Who knows? But, I'm sure you have your own opinions! Rave away at how wonderful Lusty is, whether it be your favourite spell or your favourite person and show all the other MUDs just how far they have to go!

Other than that, this 10th aniversary is amazing!

Lusternia: Probably the best MUD on the net. All the others I encountered belong to at least one of the following categories:

1. Boring LP-like killwaits. I do not have to elaborate on this, do I?

2. Cliques. More often encountered on RP muds than not. A bunch of elitistic jerks who look down on everyone not sharing their ways, and often make you feel that, because you are a Noob, you are Not Welcome Here.

3. Abusive admins. Somewhat like #2, only more so.

4. Claustrophobic, small gameworlds. I don't necessarily mean the games' geography, but rather the number of things to do and places to explore.

5. Bad RP (either in the snugglebunny-retard; RP elitist jerk; or demi-vampire dragon variety), or no RP at all. Actually, no RP is better than bad RP. If I wanted to play World of Warcraft, I'd play... actually, I DO play World of Warcraft.

Other IRE muds: Achaea and Aetolia suffer from #5, Imperian bored me from the start. Simple elimination, and only Lusternia is left on the field!

Actually, Achaea is #5 and Aetolia is #2.
