Palm sigils, when dropped in a room, suppress acquisitio in that room. Someone who has acquisitio up will not lose it; it just won't fire in that room.

Put one of these up at the pentagrams to keep people from accidentally stealing the ring you're trying to enchant. Put one at the Moonhart Mother Tree to prevent afk people from swiping moonhart nuts. Put one in your shop stockroom so you or your allies won't have to turn acquisitio off whenever you go into the stockroom. Drop one to temporarily override your acquisitio without having to waste charges lowering and reraising it. Sylphas can use one to prevent people stealing his illusionary furniture.

They resemble an open palm, and are made from the same stuff as monolith sigils.

Only problem I see with this is people dropping this in Raziela's room. She already bypasses selfish and grip, causing people to drop weapons, shields, tomes, anything to the ground. And acquisito helps alot, when some people refuse to give things back. Better that someone in your crew picks it up, instead of your enemy.
