I'm in north carolinuh
And yes, it's hot as balls. I was tanning outside yesterday at around noon and was literally drenched in sweat. Then later I thought 4:30 would be late enough to go for a run and nearly passed out. Not a good idea!

Huzzah for New England! It's cool in the summer, but frozen in the winter... But hey! Snow's cool!

Whaaaaaaat!? I'm from Philadelphia, which is close enough to New England, and spent a few weeks every summer of my life in Cape Cod, MA, and have to tell you that it is not cool there in the summers. It is a different kind of hot, though. I find the south to be more sticky and humid and feel hotter while in the north it's more of a dry heat.
Murphy2007-08-16 17:36:38
I think i'm a little too far south mate

The cape, and most of New Egland is a very humid heat. We usually don't go over 100 F in the summer. We still have the humidity though. This year has been mild for us though

Hm, something tells me I confuse the sensations of humidity versus dry. My parents were saying how dry it was down here while I thought it was humid .

I miss living in Rhode Island
Rakor2007-09-22 00:20:57
I'm in NC and I hate the humidity, the heat doesn't bother me at all. I'd be fine with 100 degrees every day if there was no humidity.
