I have been trying to decide what to choose for a couple of months now, so please post your opinions on what will work better for a Taurian Axelord. I tend to like stag more, but aeon is a real tempting ability to have, although I don't know how useful it can be to me, since I am not that fast with sticking afflictions.

Stag.

Because it's cooler.

Either one can be useful. Seren always needs stag users to bond totems, and things like spirit totem and medicine bag, trueheart, swiftstripes, and stagform can be helpful. On the other hand, drawdown is pretty amazing, and several other moon abilities are very useful (harvest, waxing, full, aura, shine, etc). Overall I would recommend Moon for having more useful abilities, but stag has quite a bit of fun flavor to it and some useful abilities to back it up as well.

Most choose Moon because of the coven abilities, Drawdown, and Beam.

I've followed Stag since day one, and though it still has one or two semi-useless abilities, it makes up with other abilities. The totem is fun and useful with things like TotemReturn (you can teleport back to your totem from pretty much anywhere, even Astral), StagTotem (confusing name, but heals you and your allies of afflictions and damage), and Bonding (activates a totem to hit enemies with the runes on it). The medicine bag is quite useful, too, healing more than a health potion and fixing up wounds darned well when applied effectively.

You all wrong, Tracking is the new deal! Totems cant even compare, psh! medicine bag, weapon aura, bah! who needs them. take Tracking, the wolf beats all other abilities!

Plus, most of the abilities in the hunting skillset are useless for killing.
EDIT: Anyway, I have chosen Stag. Balizar is right, it's much cooler!
