security, guards and nexus powers

I've noticed for a while now that often certain guilds get pushed by others in the commune or city to appoint more security solemnly for the powers that are most needed for defensive actions. Sometimes there aren't any people though, which makes it a lot more difficult.

And then there are guilds that have security members but no powers at all (aka bards and monks). Since monks are now being released and bards still do not have any powers or guards, it leads me to believe that they are not planned at all for the near future. I can't blame the administration either as they are probably very busy with collegiums and monk skills.

My suggestion is this: Allow -every- security member of any guild to access all nexus powers and guard types. Perhaps give it a penality to cost more if someone not of the appropriate guild calls that nexus power or summons that guard. But make it -possible-. That way we wouldn't have to screw over some guilds advancement systems just because we need more security in those guilds.

Badly explained perhaps.. but.. opinions? unsure.gif

I hope when the monks and collegiums are finished being released, bards and monks will at least get guards, if not nexus powers.
