Back to Common Grounds.

Amaru stole some items in the Wailing Woman Inn shop and tried to sell them on market.

I hate to say such negative things but if I don't get them back somehow I won't ever be playing lusternia again. I am full well ready to do so even after 3 years of heavy entertainment.

censor.gif ridiculous.

You're kidding, right?

You steal hours of people's time when you kill them and they lose experience, or when you kill a Supernal. And you've got the balls to throw a tantrum over some items? Give me a break, and hit the road--maybe you'll find some tissues.
Ixion2007-09-07 01:40:17
Actually my tissue was stolen too.

Edit: Clearly RP killing of Supernals and love of combat is congruent to stealing personal items from a locked, eyed, monolithed, stockroom.

Get a clue.
Unknown2007-09-07 01:41:46
I must say, this is a well thought out, reasonable and mature thing to do. Surely Amuru will see how his actions made you feel, return the stolen goods, aplogize and we will all learn a valuable lesson about playing nice with others.

(Not to say that stealing is cool, just that threatening to leave the game over it isn't the best way to go about getting things put right.)
Unknown2007-09-07 01:42:27
censor.gif retarded reason to stop playing.
Ialie2007-09-07 01:44:16
What all did he steal?
How did he get in?

But you clearly ignored the whole killing of people and costing them experience part. Nice. Even if the Supernal bit is arguable (cause, hey, theft can't be RPed, right? Psh.) You killing people, which you've done quite a lot of, is definitely on par with stealing personal items from a locked, eyed, monolithed, stockroom, yes.
Gabranth2007-09-07 01:44:56
How did he steal it as well?

Kinda low on details from posts so far.

EDIT: Ialie is quick.

Let me put it at a lower level so you can comprehend.

I'd heartstop 50 times to get them back. Now stop crying about experience loss, which has been nerfed so much it's utterly worthless. At best you lose no exp on death, at worst you pray and barely lose anything. I've prayed many times as titan- praying means jack crap now.

Again, get a clue man.

Theft is not allowed in the Celestines, even from Magnagorans. You could, perhaps, do something about it IG.
Catarin2007-09-07 01:54:40
How can you with a straight face get upset about someone stealing something from you and act like you're above such things? You stole a scimitar of mine that was stripped in a one on one battle, mocked me to the point I had to to snub you, and refused to return it. You *can't* be serious.

Stole? Coule dropped it and I picked it up. I was going to give it back after some minor haggling (you know, that little thing called RP amongst enemies) but you shunned the idea and snubbed me. The only other time I did something similar was with Malicia, and she got her stuff back.

Try again.
Shamarah2007-09-07 02:00:27
I'd have more sympathy if it was almost anyone else.

Cry moar, plz.

(As a side note, is this the same stockroom that Amaru got into via teleport, or did he rob a second shop now?)

Poor you.

By minor RP you mean my character would have to beg to get it back and no you flat out refused to give it back and said it was because I mocked your fighting ability some days beforehand. Revisionist history is interesting and all but the fact remains you stole (yes, taking things that don't belong to you IS stealing), you didn't give it back, and now you're coming here crying that someone stole from you and you're going to quit the game over it. I just find that hilarious for some reason.

Wailing woman inn, which of course has an eye, and a monolith.

Which one did he get into via teleport, Sham?

Edit: It's not even my shop.. it's Athana's. The only way to know I had something in there of my own was to actually look from inside. I mean honestly who has something against Athana, she so insanely nice.
Unknown2007-09-07 02:41:46
Was there some exploit involved? In that case, I can understand the frustration.

Also, it's very easy to get quite upset when another player deliberately takes something important to you, which they obviously don't value as much - whether that is experience, gold, objects, or whatever. I know I don't always think to consider what I'm saying when in that majorly pissed off mindset. And maybe now is not the best time to gloat, kicking someone when they're down and all.

I pray A LOT. MORE THEN ANYONE. BELIEVE ME. Losing 15%+ per death is so frustrating. I DON'T THINK IT'S BARELY ANYTHING. Thank you.

I can verify, she's always praying.
