What's up with Regens?

Rather than talking about it in a totally unrelated thread, I thought i'd make one specifically for it to try and see if anyone could tell me what in Nil is up with regens.

Health
-------
Mercy - Based on Max Health.
Knighthood Regen - Based on Max Health.
Harmony Body Regen - Based on Max Health.

Beauty/Perfection - 75/tic
IronWill - 50/tic
Performance - 75/tic (but only at trans. It starts out at 25)
Harmony Heart/Mind Regen - 75/tic/associated mantra

So, i'm just curious..why does health get a treatment that allows it to be useful and scale at all levels, while Ego and Mana get the shaft and pretty much stop being useful for highbies, considering damage is almost always at least partially based on the max of the stat being damaged? I can understand maybe not wanting it quite as high as health, but couldn't it at least be based partially on max ego/mana, with a cap maybe, if its such a concern? Cause as it is, it seems like once you pass a certain point, all the above regens become kinda pointless unless you have a sip penalty.

So..why is it like this? Has there even been a comment from the Admin about it?

I think this is so that high-leveled people aren't able to ignore loss of mana or ego from casting costs. If regen was scaled, a titan could potentially go a whole fight without sipping mana/bromides, eating sparkles, or otherwise increasing mana and ego because the regen would cover it. Health, on the other hand, only drops when it's attacked, so the regen is not that useful except when recovering from damage after combat or during a period of less attacks. And that's why.

As a note, other than prime titans already get lvl 3 regen which is based on max health I believe. Demigods get it on prime too.

Err... it's racial reggen. So if racial reggen is messed, so is titan / demigod reggen.

PS: Unless I fight a class that actively drains mana or ego for insta kills, no I never had to sip mana. But I already never had to sip it as high level Celestine (not yet titan with perfection enchant) already. At high levels if you still need to sip mana a lot... you should rethink your race choice.
