Now if someone has PK CAREFUL ON, and is not a suspect to anyone, then how the hell can someone attack them, afflicting them with several oppressing afflictions and not be on the suspect list? Participate in a non-pk event (such as the harmony one going on right now) and what happens- someone not participating is allowed to go around attacking others to hinder them. WTF is that? PK != attacking another? Then I'd like it that if someone attacks me and I heartstop (because that's the only cure available to some people when afflicted beyond their skills to cure) I get suspect on them. Or, I'd like to be able to attack others and not get suspect if someone else kills them. These loopholes are just plain retarded and obvious. Fix them.

avenger does not negate pk, it negates repeated dying on prime. People should not all of the sudden be nice to you because of an event.

Technically, attacking without killing is not PK, it is PvP. PK is only if you kill them. It's PK, not PA.

I sincerely disagree with you here, personally I find the experience of dying a whole lot worse than a little bit of XP loss. My playing experiences have always been about enjoyment of interaction and much less so about 'bash bash bash' or whatever, then when someone runs in and kills you for no apparent reason while all you can really do is sit behind your screen and watch yourself die, I don't care if I didn't lose experience, it is still no fun whatsoever.

I can agree with this to a certain extent. Lusternia is an RP game, so if people kill you for no reason it can be OOCly annoying and ICly frustrating since you are dying. I don't think it can be put in the category of "griefing" though, which usually denotes going way over the line and making your playing experience generally negative. If a single death does that to someone, they're probably too attached.

As a note of clarification, though, I should say that this doesn't actually apply specifically to the situation that Zacc is complaining about. The reality is that Zacc has given people ample reason to hate his character, and it makes perfect IC sense for a lot of people to attack him when they get the chance, and even more sense for them to do whatever they can to keep him from winning the contest. It could be argued that to ignore him simply because he is in the contest would be bad RP.

In Achaea, the PK rules said that if a person attacked you and did not kill you, you had rights to bring about one death on them. Here, I am extremely happy that attacks do not bring about avenger status unless they lead to death. That is the way it should be, in my opinion - otherwise, if I attack you and you run away without dying, I have no chance to attack you again for 30 days, even though you lost absolutely nothing.
