Hello. First of all, to avoid any confusion, the system I'm referring to is the zMUD one, written and supported by Thorgal/Murphy/Diamante/Ciaran at different times.

I'm currently writing my own MUSH/Lua-based curing system. But as I don't have much free time and due to the fact the system I want to create is quite complex, this will take, well, at best, a few months. So I need something to protect myself right now. Thus, I'm going to purchase a system to use until I get my own one ready.

I've seen Palisade and Avante-Garde systems' code and I didn't like it. Please get me right - these are excellent systems. Maybe even better than excellent :) It's just not what I want, the way they handle certain things differs from my view. Most likely that means my view is somewhat wrong, but I'm stubborn :) As I've seen Zarquan and Ethelon's systems, Ciaran's one is the last system I want to touch.

Is there any chance to take a look at the code? Let me explain. I want to see a general idea behind the system, and most importantly, if such an idea exists at all. I'm not asking you to just send me the system for free, of course. If there's an old (and useless now) version, or if it's possible to take a look at some parts of the system - I would be most grateful. Please get it right, I have no intention to use the parts revealed - if I like it, I will purchase the full system. Thank you.

Well I can help with mush and lua, see the free plugins thread for ideas on one way to do some things... my code is all over the mechanics sub forum in lua for Mush. Granted my system isn't finished yet, but it does give a good look at theory and such.

what bits of the code do you want to see? I'm pretty much the guy that rewrote the mechanics after thorgal wrote the initial base, and ciaran is pretty good at it too.
