Apparently when I double-click on lusternia's game icon, it loads up but doesn't connect, everything is black and my system files are gone. I then clicked on that window box in the lower right hand corner of the screen and it gave a division by zero error code. Whatever that means, my only guess is that I somehow screwed up some nesescary files.

The way zmud saves your settings leaves it extremely vulnerable to corruption. When a .MUD file gets corrupted, Bad Things™ happen.

Unfortunately there's no miracle cure if it was a corrupted .mud. The only workaround is regular backups.

There is, on the bright side, a backup automatically made - assuming it is not destroyed. In your character folder (usually %systemdrive%/program files/zmud/lusternia/) you will see a file called lusternia.mud and lusternia_bak.mud. Rename lusternia.mud to lusternia1.mud, and rename lusternia_bak.mod to lusternia.mud. Try reconnecting again, and see if it's any better.

I made a new file, restarted my computer and everything seems to be acting normal.
