Right. As I said, this is probably beating a dead horse, but I'd really like there to be some sort of conflict between the Communes similar to that of Celestia vs Nil. Though, there is also the point that touching Faethorn causes indescribable torture to all involved, maybe something could be done. As it stands, there is no point to commune conflict. It's boring, dull, and assembling a raiding crew onto the other org's ethereal counterpoint is hell in itself. That said, however, I still would like to see something similar of the Supernal/Demon Lord system between Serenwilde and Glomdoring. Provided on the premise that Glom can't choke their Avatars..
Anyway, constructive feedback appreciated. If you've beaten the dead horse already, polish the whip and commence once more.

Avatars can be unchokable just as soon as Etherwilde blocks wane.
Otherwise, I approve.

Try avatars blocking wane. We won't mind.

Hey, choke was envoyed to go with that. There's no accounting for what else happens. Unaccounted-for changes is how we ended up with a useless thornlash.

I would like to see conflict quests involving Serenwilde and Glomdoring that
A ) Don't involve one trying to rape the most sacred areas/entities of the other (hello burnout)
B ) Involve the cities and give them a way to cause problems for the communes (moss-gorgogs!)
C ) Gives some interesting insight into the cultural differences between them (NOT the physical/environmental differences)
I don't think killing Avatars is the way. I don't like that killing Cosmic Lords cuts out a large swathe of skills/power investment for citizens who aren't even involved, and really are so central to each nation it can't be waved aside when there aren't enough defenders.
I also don't think Serenwilde and Glomdoring need more ways to hate each other, and grind up more ill-will and isolation. I'd love to see some commune v city quests, that DO NOT involve the two forests necessarily working together (for clarity: DO NOT FORCE EITHER FOREST TO HELP THE OTHER), nor the two cities, but allow a bit of flexibility in which nations are fighting against each other.

I would like more conflict that actually has a meaning between the communes. Most of what I see now is both sides beating the crap out of each other simply because they utterly despise one another. You have people like Kalodan on one side shouting and screaming about how Glomdoring is the ultimate evil and needs to be destroyed at all costs, and people on the other side still carrying out a ruthless campaign of hate because of the horrible beat down given way early on. Neither, in my opinion, actually adds to the game. On the contrary, I think that kind of conflict makes the game very unfun.
Definitely a thumbs-up to highlighting cultural and idealogical differences .

I suppose. I mean, we all know they have the Wyrd/Natural conflict already. I think their ideologies are already pretty known and why they clash with one another is obvious. This said, commune conflict (in any form) is highly lacking and it's just downright boring at this point. Please add something, ANYTHING.
EDIT: I'd be perfectly fine with Avatar rooms being un-waneable for making Night Avatars unchokeable. You have a deal.
