This news item is apparently genuine, even though the website it's from seems prone to some conspiracy-theorist nuttery.
The situation in the US is looking lovelier and lovelier. We get this, people being arrested for using a coffee shop's free wi-fi service from outside the coffee shop...
What's next? Mandatory flagpoles in front of every residence? On-line "report your neighbour as a terrorist" forms on the DHS' website? Elections next year replaced by "9/11 Memorial Day?"

What the hell. And this isn't the first time I've heard of something like this recently.
Anyone remember the tasering of that kid who went on too long at a John Kerry event?

He was asking about something like, "skull and crossbones" and they cut his mic... I saw it on the tv here in China, it made some big-ish news on Beijing TV.

This is just an example of that whole psychological power thing. People with power tend to abuse it. It's kind of sad that people would do something like this, especially to a young girl.

Wow I'm kind of scared now... China is looking better and better everyday!

Secret student club thing at Yale that both President Bushs and Senator Kerry were members of.

I R Canadian. The cops smoke dope with the students after busting them while on duty. I love it.

He was given the mic for asking a question. He gave a speech which was pretty much about conspiracy theories and was inappropriate for the event. He was being escorted out, and instead of leaving, he made a scene and screamed and resisted arrest. The kid (who, by the way, had a reputation for just being an idiot in general, note the applause in the video below) was tasered for resisting, not for what he said. That rumor was spread by hippies, don't buy into their lies.
