Is anyone else noticing that sites like Pandora, or YouTube don't work as well on firefox anymore?

Also, sometimes I seem to be unable to switch tabs. Anyone else having these problems?

Seem to be working fine for me.

Just back up your bookmarks and reinstall the newest version.

smile.gif Its an issue I have on multiple computers, from multiple locations.

It also isn't something that you would see when testing a site for just a minute or so. It would be something that you would notice comes up after hours of use or just on random days.

You sure it's not a plugin you're running? I haven't noticed anything odd happening with Firefox.

On my wife's mac, firefox can't watch youtube at all. I have to physically click to see the next frame of the video.
At my office, pandora won't let me switch tabs unless I pull up another program ontop of it first.
on my pc, when I go to youtube sometimes if they are open for a while, firefox crashes completely.

They all have various plugins and and different set ups.

I've also been noticing lately that my games are more likely to run smoothly in IE7 than they are in firefox. It used to be the opposite with IE6 and flash player 8.

I hate to praise Microsoft, but...

IE7 on Vista runs so much better than Firefox, and Firefox has never worked for some major sites, like Yahoo radio. Once IE came out with tabbed browsing, there was no reason to keep Firefox.

I haven't had a problem with firefox. Maybe its weird with Vista?

I, too, am inclined to blame Vista. Mostly because you need to be profoundly stupid or uninformed to buy Vista anyway.

I run the latest Firefox and haven't experienced any of those problems... I've had issues watching videos off thedaylyshow.com, but those issues translate to IE too, so I presume it's their stuff that is broken.

Then again, that may just be Firefox' way of telling you not to spend six hours watching anime theme songs on YouTube.

I have this feeling that Java and Flash both work better in IE.

hmm, wierd.

Ironically, Firefox works best for me on my vista machine. (except for the memory issues, but then Vista itself has memory issues.) I don't know if it works better than IE, because I haven't bothered trying to use IE in vista, since Firefox never gave me reason to.
