If you are using tinyfugue, or interested in using it, let us know by posting here and saying so. Note your comfort with the using the system, perhaps in terms like newbie, confused, and power user. I thought we shoul d have this as it's own forum topic after comming across people asking on another thread. http://forums.lusternia.com/index.php?showtopic=4882
If you don't know what tf (tinyfugue) is, or are looking for scripts, start here: http://forums.lusternia.com/index.php?showtopic=14096

I'm thinking of starting to use it. I'm a noob.

Whats a 'users roll call'?
i'm tf user, using bwbettings base on my unix machine, i've rebuilded most of the functions since it was outdated. Started playing a month ago, written almost all the forren's trigger lines in by now, (DAMN THAT IS ALOT) My system is not complete yet, but, its getting there some puzzles here and there. Imap is very nice as mapper, but havn't got it stable on my windows machine or found a unix version that does not crash. One cool thing that bwbettin used was the 'gentrig's made me able to start building a color theme easily, by storing all colors in one file. (under construction)
thats my system, been ment to transfer my desktop to unix again, but i'm lazy and play on my server through ssh =)... works smoothly

I was thinking of a roll call like at the first of class or something like that. I suppose it doesn't quite fit. This is just a thread to get a list of who's using tf, or wants to and what their skill level is.
You are a power user! That status bar is very impressive. I like bwbettins gentrig idea as well. It looks like you have run with it. Very nice.
Unknown2007-11-12 00:25:34
I've still been using tf for a while no, but still no where near being able to script something like that status bar. The only thing I'm proud of is having made an auto-influencing script =D

I have recently started using TF again for fun, just to see if I can do it. I always wanted to learn TF, so now let me see if I can... I doubt it, but it is worth a shot. I'll probabaly just end up running Mush under Cedega anyway.

I used to use tinyfugue, and still use it when I'm on my desktop, but do most of my playing in CMUD now.

That looks awesome. Keep up the good work. Glad my trigger lines are being used!
Tzu2007-11-12 08:37:14
oh man, i forgot to use 256 colors, sweet that i made that color theme file ;D
I might be able to give out a base of my system or my system to you guys, if you want it, but need to clean it up abit, havn't documented much but i got it all organized and there's still alot of things todo.
And yeah, forren if it wasn't for you i had like 2 years to go and collect affliction lines =)

We could always set up a community effort at a TF system for everyone? Are you using TF or TF5?
EDIT: By "community" we mean "Tzu etc" =)

Would be nice, its lonely coding alone =)
Simimi2007-11-12 09:33:19
I'm willing to attempt to learn TF =)
.... again =(
.... again =(
Tzu2007-11-12 09:39:48
its not hard at all =)
Hmm... You have a copy of TF and running now Simimi?

Hmm... Gona clean it up abit, might take awhile and i post a clean'ish version of it somewhere where you can check it out.
Simimi2007-11-12 10:43:03
Many thanks Tzu! I'm going to try and learn it again. When I first started I was brand new to everything. Since then I have learned a bit on the computer front so perhaps it won't be too bad this time around.
Valaria2007-11-12 13:42:16
good news for lua user.. who like.... lua...
Patch to TF to get LUA option!
Have fun.
EDIT:
after patched it.. dont forget to do /help lua so you want to know how to work with lua in TF.

,_, never heard of Lua, i'm lightweight when it comes to programming, but i know almost tf as back of my pocket now =)
Valaria2007-11-12 23:53:34
please teach me the art of TF, oh Tf Master.
Simimi2007-11-13 00:00:36
I want to echo Valaria... You, oh small winged Angel of life, are my new hero, for giving me Lua on TF... all is now right with my personal bubble of reality. :glee:

I have been using TF a bit now, playing through the fact that I have been unable to set up anything other than a few macros. Basically doing all my healing by hand. Of course, I haven't gotten that far past the thirtieth circle, so I'm not really running in to anything difficult.
I recently downloaded the system bwbettin had posted (someone else actually posted it, his were offline) and I continuously get "% tfwrite -1:bad handle" and "% status_prompt_catch: / operator: arithmetic overflow" errors, and the status bar doesn't seem to fill itself out like it should.
While I am not computer illiterate, I am quite lost when it comes to coding and script languages. I can and have learned before, but at the moment TF is a bit too much for me to comprehend, especially going from making a simple macro to figuring out how bwbettin's prompt catch works (or rather, doesn't work).
Any advice?
Edit: After some tinkering and research I've managed to get the prompt error not to show, but I still can't get the status to show in the statusbar. As such, things like autosipper won't work because they think I'm at 0 health and try to spam potions. I know I could get this eventually, but a push in the right direction would help.
