Something happened to the scrying pool and the envoy wiki hosted there, and going to either will give you trojans.

So uh... don't go there I guess. At least for a while...

Ugh, I will have to remember this as I visit the scrying pool rather often...

It happened sometime over the last few days-- my AV bounced a few, ran a full scan and a couple had made it onto the machine, so if you've been to either, make sure you get an updated scan done ASAP.

Well, I use the "View New Posts" link almost exclusively, unless I'm trying to find an older thread or something, so the pinning doesn't usually matter so much to me. But for others I'm sure it's useful.

I'm just glad I did see this thread before I went to the scrying pool. I'm usually at work when I go there!

It's not a major thing, just on the part where it shows what skills you get at what rank, it isn't accurate

Holy crap. I think my host server machine is infected - its probably a zombie too. Every index.php page has code added to it, as does every index.html. Bloody nil.

I've deleted what I can find, but I doubt it will stay that way long if the whole server is infected. I'll put through a support request to my host, but I'm planning on shifting to a different company soon, so I might just close that account.

The envoy wiki is not used anymore (I don't think), does the Scrying Pool get used much?

Not so much when I'm playing Xavius, but...2-5 times a day when I'm off in altland, and that's just me.

Envoy is still used (we're still in the process of porting things over, as the plugin hasn't been installed on the new wiki yet it hasn't really gone forward).

Scrying pool is used consistently by many people.

I go and look at stuff on it a lot, when I'm bored at work mostly or when I'm feeling curious about skills.

I guess that means I'll be porting it across then. Just checking!

How would the Trojan pass through the browser? What does it use?

Aye...a few things in the scrying pool need to be updated such as Jewellry and Wildarrane...things likes Shofangi and Harmony will prolly need to be tweaked as well. If things need to be added, I'll be glad to give the info if it's needed.
