What's the reason for only being able to construct colossi in the nexus world? Apart from the obvious issues of simply being ganked before you can set one up, thus wasting all the stuff involved in the construction, you can actually almost get taken out by a wrath effect or something. Since bombard is utterly useless without a construct interfering now (2 of us were unable to outpace a shielded colossus healing) it makes sense to give the attacking org the ability to construct a colossus on a ship, or something...or maybe grow the miniature instantly. Beacon has the same issues. That way you'll be able to have some impact.

agreed I don't understand the point of having it destroy all comms and what not. Even if it is not constructed instantly, why can it not be like wildnodes, where if you're planting a node and you interrupt it, it fails, but then you can just plant it again?

I agree, it should at the least not destroy all the comms if you fail. Not sure if a shorter time is needed in addition to that.
