Basicly what the topic says, it would be so much smoother to be able to submit ideas to envoy on forum.

Like an private forum that you could access too, say for example if your above guild rank 3, you get a login & password for a forum to post ideas at. I think that would be useful to have, i've found it much easier to write things here then through 100 of diffrent messages to envoy and then i'm in the dark of things.

So why can't guild have a their own forum here? Envoy would still be the one calling the shots, it would just be more ideas floating around in the guild for the envoy to pass on.

Benefits:

Ideas would be more well written, more opinions within your guild would be shared to others and more ideas tossed around between eachother. For then the envoy to use to submit.

We could possibly just create a subforum for each guild within this forum.

and i dont think it be unnececery at all. Alot of ideas float around in the guilds, some good opinions, and i think a forum would be a better place of collecting it all.

I think it would be nice to have these subforums.


Instead of someone posting in the general forum with "hmm, hi, here is a hypothetical situation which is obviously about some current politics within my guild, lets discuss it!"

You will have people posting in thier respective guild sub forum "hmm , hi! You all know whats going on, so don't say details, but, shouldn't we as players be looking at the situation from this angle!?"

or...

You can have lich vs trueheal debates restricted to the guilds they actually apply to.

I know i would find it more useful but i'm not realy the envoy to submit ideas, i just find it much better to see what others have submitted in the guild and easier to write down properly here.

Or you could just be like me, get mad at everyone, force through whatever changes you want to make and say "Deal with it". It's so much easier than this "discussion" thing you propose .

Yes, I know that system really doesn't work with Envoys, but wouldn't it be nice if it did? *sweet daydream*

What about people that don't use the forums? I'm aware that a great deal of discussion and ideas come from the forums right now that not every player engages in, but guild forums imply to me a sort of inclusiveness that means if you're not in the forum you're not up with what's going on in the guild. I also already think there should be more discussion towards resolving problems in-game as it is.

an interesting idea, and I know its possible to have subforums specific to a certain assigned forum rank and such...but as Volroc said, many people dont use forums

what about a IG forum like the news for each guild? They can discuss things whilst still in the game so most will be able to see it (or disable it if they wanna stay IC)

Volroc I like the idea, but its a hassle for me to write messeges for the envoy. I dont receive my own copy of the msg or letter and keeping all these copies is a hassle of itself.

Would it be possible to integrate the subforum to the game?

If it was integreted into forum or a subforum where suggestions could be posted but for members of the guild. I think would be useful.

I think subforum for guilds wouldnt hurt aslong as it keept ooc and still all IC relevant information could be posted in the guild news and not dragged to the forum.

We're not going to have subforums for each guild. There's certainly no way to restrict a subforums by guild rank (unless you actually expect me to do it manually which isn't going to happen).

Really, you can start a guild clan to discuss issues for your guild in-game.
