newbs and the college i think its called?

why is it while you are in the college (glade etc.) why cant they use GNT? i dont see a reason to remove the gnt channel for people who want to use it. As i made an alt recently and no it wasnt a ninja superninja.gif i think it would be nice if everyone could use their gnt.
