yeah I know Nexus right but this is the one I'm most familiar with. well Buying Nexus system if any good ones are available, however am considering going Cmud, tried it out a bit ago not to shabby I say but too cheap to pay until after X-mas

There are no good nexus systems available. Zero commercial, anyway. The import function doesn't even work properly half the time.

If you get the updated Cmud, Catarin has very recently released a free cmud system. At the very least, it'll be better than anything any of us nexus users can send you. Other than me, but I'm just overpowered like that.

Yeah, there's a suave free CMud system, so I would really considering going that way. Despite anything Krellan says, Nexus is not good. XD

Lies, Nexus is awesome! You just have to have a determination that will pierce the heavens and do it yourself!

Since you can't make nexus wrapwidth like you can in cmud/zmud/etc, you're stuck with multiple lines or very long unreadable lines.
So far I thought (and was told so too) that you can't create multi-lines triggers with nexus, but your post got me thinking about it again, and I finally got it to work whatthe.gif wahoo.gif.

Now I need to rework 80% of my reflexes to work that way, and maybe, just maybe, I can get my system from "crap" to "acceptable". freaked.gif

I was um...making that u- I mean, of course you did! Did you really get multiline triggers to work? If it's where you set variables to change between lines, those don't work in the field since Nexus tends to ignore you. If not, do tell. blink.gif

Not sure what you mean... but it turns out "lineA{*}lineB" works.
But yeah, there's also the problem that nexus occasionally ignores you confused.gif but it's better then the crap I have right now.
My current system easily locks out when I cure things that don't need to and some other situations... crying.gif so I'm hoping that the multi-line thingy will prove decent enough to use.

Oh...well, you're welcome then. happy.gif

If only nexus didn't hate me and occasionally delete the entire group when I modify existing triggers angry.gif
Shiri2007-12-24 13:19:17
Yeah, don't use groups, that's been broken since Nexus' inception, I lost my entire astrology set that way a couple times.

If you do use groups, never do classon/classoff. I think if you leave them on all the time they're fine.

I use the groups in hope to get some chance to find things without using the search... I'll have to remove them, I guess.
I do use pipes with groups and use the on off options and so far it's been working perfectly (enable pipe class when they are lite, and disable when I empty them).
