I'm already going to trans my guild skills for sure, but I also kind of want a cameo, and a pet. Any ideas?

Skills: Trans Resilience, Master Discernment (Thirdeye), Expert-ish Environment (Tumble), Expert Combat (Weaponparry + stance head), Capable Influence (Analyze). Also consider Trans Magic.

For PvP, I'd suggest arti pipes and a Rune of Absorption.
For bashing, maybe a crit rune. Otherwise, enjoy your pet!
Daganev2007-12-30 17:49:23
too hard to read, put that in a code block.

Also, put aside 500 credits for the market, and use that gold to continously and slowly increase your credit supply. (i.e. say you sell 500 credits at 4800 and then spend that gold buying them at 4500, thats 150,000 gold which can buy you another 33 credits.) Over time this adds up and feels good tongue.gif

lastly, besides a few cheap artifacts, I find omnitrans more useful than any particular artifact. (assuming you don't guild hop)
Unknown2007-12-30 18:19:42
Or you could start an essay contest and give away some of your credits in the spirit of continuing and furthering the literary arts?
Severian2007-12-30 21:22:04
Daganev, I worried that'd be a problem tongue.gif.

I'm not guild hopping, but I've been wanting the pet for some time, and the credit bonus i got to get 2500 will cover it I think. The rest I could use to get pretty close to omnitrans, it won't be complete, but meh.

Are arti pipes really that important? Do they hold more puffs in them? I haven't had a chance to look at them yet, but I suppose I will.

Think I might get the absorption rune and the crit rune. Any else have fancy ideas?
Arix2007-12-30 22:45:43
Arti pipes are always lit, I forget what else they do
Unknown2007-12-30 23:09:07
I've always wanted to hear from someone who actually owns one, but is the Lucky Hit run really worth it? Does it give a noticeable boost?

And yeah, arti pipes are very sweet, mainly because you just don't have to waste time lighting them. Very good for when you're in aeon or sap or something especially.
Shamarah2007-12-30 23:21:15
Trans guild skills (consider switching to acrobatics if you intend to do serious fighting), trans magic, environment to tumble (if you're staying psymet, otherwise you can disregard that due to somersault), trans resilience, trans combat, trans magic, trans discernment if you want aethersight, 3 arti pipes, and consider a Rune of Absorption. You'll probably have credits left over even if you do get a RoA that you can probably just spend on whatever.

If you really want a pet you can, of course, drop some of that (those skills aren't in order of priority, you can get away with not transing combat or magic or discernment for instance).
Severian2007-12-31 18:40:37
Good suggestions, I will take them all.

Sham: I would switch to acrobatics, but I was a psionic before ninjakari and I'd incur HUGE lesson losses if I switched now. I'll still consider it, but yeah.

I feel hijacking this may be better than a new thread.

I too am looking for suggestions on where to invest a more modest sum of credits.

Should I keep it in skills, get a gem or maybe a RoA?

I would prefer things that will increase my bashing ability rather than merely PVP.
Shamarah2007-12-31 23:03:25
If bashing ability is all you want, you might as well finish transing Resilience and get a RoA. There isn't a whole lot else to help with bashing.
Daganev2007-12-31 23:32:05
lucky crit runes, and max health runes.

Just a random question.. how much do you all spend on credits? I feel really guilty and stupid to have forked out 500 dollars for the 2000 creddies I got...
Unknown2008-01-04 16:45:32
I've spent about $80 on my monk... but... I'm on the cheap side in some respects... I don't think I'd spend any more ever. I'm going to try and get the rest in game from this moment onward... yay!

I usually only get the 100 credit package (I can't usually spend more than $40 at once on it) - and generally only once a month or less. I honestly don't know how much I've spent on Noola in total - much less a few alts I have spent money on (but don't play anymore and haven't in so long, they're little strangers I barely remember - though I could, if I ever got a wild hair cause they're credited alts and so will never be deleted).

Prolly an amount that would shock me if I found out. laugh.gif

Go a cubix over a cameo, you'll be everyone's favourite!
