We're looking for more dreams to add to Lusternia. Feel free to suggest your own! They must be no longer than a short paragraph in length.

What about the sentence that shows when the player has that dream in your vicinity?! That's so important! Who can forget Nymerya peeing herself in her sleep?

While checking the log file for your guild, you notice that Ashteru has recently joined.  The question you have to ask yourself is: is this a dream, or is this simply the weekend?  Freaky, eh?
CODE
Shivers of ecstasy rush down your spine as you read an Announce post by Morgfyre that the Choke ability in the Night skill has been replaced by an ability that afflicts an opponent with a couple of hangnails.
CODE
You look down in horror to see blood seeping from your very pores as a Harbinger strums her lyre and begins to sing.  With growing terror, you realize she is singing about your death.  The lyrics are really atrocious, too.  Seriously.  Something about the darkness of the soul escaping the pain of something.  You know how it is.
CODE
Narsrim, Malicia, and Forren stare expectantly at you as your turn arrives in the Great Celest Battle o' Da Rappahz.  You find that you cannot come up with a single rhyme and totally choke in a big, big way.  Better luck next time, 8 Mile.

Veonira runs a finger down your cheek as she whispers softly, "Kaervas means nothing to me.  All I ever wanted was you.  You."  "Really?" you whisper back, breathlessly.  "No, no, not really," she replies, cackling hellishly as she speeds away.  With Kaervas.  Ha, loser.

Your organization erupts with joy and enthusiasm as you ascend to its leadership.  Everyone is supportive and helpful, and even the criticism is done in a respectful and positive way.  Your decisions are widely acknowledged to be the wisest course of action, and everyone does what you ask as expediently as they can.  In conversations with or about you, everyone is calm, happy, and level-headed.  Somehow, they are also a lot smarter, and you find that everyone's thoughts of what is truly important meshes with yours in an uncanny harmony.  Actually, it is very uncanny.  You wonder if you are dreaming.

Turning a corner, you look again, and find the (insert room description of Gorgog here) looming overhead. You quickly attack relentlessly, until it is nothing but a corpse. Somehow you feel as if you have done this before, and will do it again, and again.

As you presently, currently, you yourself may not be aware of.. my grammar sucks.. but here goes.
You are surrounded by the looming Glomdoring. Suddenly, you are started by a wolf leaping out of the underbrush, growling menacingly, you turn to run, only to find that several more wolves stopping you dead in your tracks. You are mauled by the pack of wolves, and ripped limb from limb.

A child is screaming, and you've a horrible headache. You make a sudden twist with your arms, your hands close upon something warm and soft. You feel rage subsiding but you look down and find your hands covered with blood. The child, a human girl with hair that would have been a strawberry blond if not for all the matted blood is finally quiet.

Here's a couple of silly ones. I'll try to think of something better.
As you make your way along the Alabastor Road, something small and furry leaps out in front of you. You continue your journey, wondering just what sort of creature it was. A few steps later, it happens again. A few more steps, again. Over and over, this small, unidentified furry creature leaps across the road just ahead of you. Finally, you decide to stand still and see what happens, but nothing does. However, as soon as you try to take a step, the creature leaps out once again.
You make your way through a crowded market street, the hustle and bustle of the people around you impeding your steps. As you ease your way through the mass of people, you notice something dark and dangerous following you out of the corner of your eye. It is impossible in the crush to get a good look at it, but it fills you with foreboding. You try to hurry your steps, but the crowd makes it impossible. A sense of panic fills you as the dark form seems to draw closer while your progress is completely stalled by a wall of marketgoers.

You come to your senses in a claustrophobic fleshy cavern with your cheek in a bloody puddle on the ground. As you blink tears from your eyes and will away your headache, you hear a sudden cry of pain from your hunting companion. You barely have time to comprehend your friend's broken form left discarded before a great beast leaps onto you and everything goes black.
The rapid pulse of four strong wings flapping beneath you carries you swiftly through the skies. Suddenly, your avian mount dives through the canopy in a hard charge against a majestic white stag. You steady yourself and ready your lance and plunge it deep into the chest of the stag. He bellows in pain and the forest suddenly comes to life with tree limbs swinging at you. Your mount banks hard to the right, then hard to the left, then tucks his wings in and does a barrel roll through a tight passage. You lose your grip and tumble to the forest floor. You see the great four-winged crow escape and hear the thundering of rapidly approaching hooves.
(Make the Glomdoring feather dream die, please!)

Seriously, folks. This is your time to BREAK THE MOLD and make a few more pleasant dreams! Maybe some org-related ones (as there already are some, so it should be mechanically possible to make more). We already have tons of bad dreams.
Note: I have no suggestions. Except for dreams related to becoming Ascendants, Gods, etc. People do dream about such things, and they would be pleasant. Despite the fact that the character might want to pretend they never had such dreams when they wake up (No, m'Lady. I would never, ever dream of supplanting you!)

I thought my furry creature dream fell into the pleasant dream category - or at least not the nightmare one.
Course, it's not a great suggestion in and of itself.

Bashing dreams are pleasant dammit!!
hmm, all the pleasant dreams I myself have had lately seem to be inappropriate for 13 year olds to read
oh wait, heres one.
You find yourself at a wedding reception, sitting next to friends you have not seen for 15 years. Soon one friend in particular starts to juggle and take you dancing. Before you know it, you are telling your old teachers new things they have never heard before while making the bride and groom happy with your amazing dancing skills.

(Preface: I've been away from the game for a long time, and haven't used the SLEEP command in Lusternia for two years (yay, Dreamweaving!), so sorry if some of these are redundant with what are already there =P)
The trouble with writing dreams is the dreams innately contain the concept of emotion at their very core. Emotions mark every dream I can remember having, and without them, the dream is hollow. However, when you include emotions in dreams such as these, you must make assumptions about how *all* characters would react and feel.
-General-
(Ascension 2007)
Holding the long staff aloft, you turn your triumphant gaze upon the final tear sheering reality high above. A mass of eyes and tentacles feebly press at the corners of the gap, but before they cross the prison's threshold, a great burst of blue fire arcs not from the staff, but from within your own heart. Your final shout is not one of pain, but a defiance that drowns the soulless thing's shriek of absolute rage. No pain greets you as the flame consumes your body, turning flesh and bone and sinew into the ash that forms the final seal upon the nightmarish astral sky. With no ears to hear, a riot of cheering heralds your soul as your essence is lifted victoriously through the ascendant heavens.
(The passing of the Summer Song - maybe only non-Mag?)
A faraway melody wafts past your ears, and before you blossoms the blessings of summer. Words interweave themselves into the song, but their meaning lies just beyond your forlorn grasp. As the keening beauty of the song fades to still silence, you know with a sudden certainty that, in time, all summers must pass.
(Planar travel)
With mounting apprehension, you eye the blue slash in the air before you. Where does it lead? What will you find? Who wove this gate? The questions and their promise of adventure overcome your hesitation and last. Taking a great gulp of breath, you close your eyes and step boldly forward into the unknown.
(Nifilhema's Tear)
As the poem rings its rhythm through the tortured plane, you brace yourself for the Demon Lord's rage. With anger contorting her face and her claws rising with cruel intent, you watch with one eyebrow raised as the words crystallize upon the lady of suffering's scarred face. A single tear falls amidst the screams, nature's salvation wrought from the twining forces of taint and light. Reaching for the treasure, you gasp in surprise at the feel of a claw caressing a line across your neck.
-Serenwilde-
(Kalodan killing White Hart with the Spear of Nintoba)
You gasp in surprise at the sight of the White Hart, his coat glistening a majestic silver in the moonlight, standing placidly beside the Moonhart Mother Tree. A small faeling with despairing eyes and tear-stained cheeks awkwardly hefts a great spear twice as long as he is tall. With a sobbing, stammered apology, he thrusts the glowing spear into the great Hart's chest.

In a furry of swift motions You kick, punch and jump in the air through flinging Combos. You feel a cool breeze cross your face after a moment you bow at the hips. Sitting down for a moment you inhale deep long motions your chest rises and falls. Closing your eyes you empty your mind of thought. Opening your eyes you realize you have forgotten everything you once knew unable to return to proper function you sit blank faced.
Everiine2008-01-08 02:36:01
You stalk quietly through the wooded hills, a feeling of ferocity coursing through you from an outside source. You feel your heart quicken as your prey, far over the next hill, bolts in front of eyes not your own. As you break into a run a faint taste of blood hits your tongue. With a great leap you land in an open clearing to see a fierce timberwolf standing over a fallen stag. As you approach, your spirits separate once again and you lift the great animal onto your back, your faithful companion at your heels as you make your way back to camp.
