I have a couple of questions for the more experienced breeders out there:
1. If two people get married, but don't found a family, can either one of them still be taken on as children to already existing families?
2. HELP CHILDREN mentions that if both spouses belong to a family, the family of the one who proposed is the 'active' family. I assume the 'secondary' spouse will be mentioned as inactive in her own family, correct? Is there any way to circumvent this?
3. There is no three.
4. If both spouses have parents, but they decide to found a family anyway, do they have the means to do this?

1. I doubt it.
2. Correct, and no.
4. They'll need to reject their families.

Darn... I was really keen on having a positive answer at least for question 1!
Are we absolutely sure accepting married children is impossible? Because I don't see any in-game reason why it should be undoable (unless coding says otherwise!)

Fairly sure married people can't be taken as children
Shiri2008-01-16 02:53:53
Yeah, they can't, sorry.

To hijack this for my own purposes... does anybody know if divorced people can consider parents or bloodbond?
Shiri2008-01-16 07:13:55
Yes you can. Dylara did that with Synl. I don't know if they can consider parents though.

Oh, we can bloodbond alright. Parents are a big no no if you've had children. Someone needs to clarify whether it's just divorced but I got a plain 'You can't be adopted if you've had children'

Which is stupid and needs to be changed.
You should also be allowed to adopt daughters without actually being married. I don't see why Synl can't RP as a single-father, hrmph.

Nothing is stopping you from the roleplay, just the mechanics.

Lame, lame, lame. Not you, the part where married people can be taken as children

I don't see why married people can't get adopted. There's no real reason for it.
Also, I wish they'd change it with adoption so that one party could initiate consider, and the others could accept any time within the 12 months, because trying to get people online at the same time is a pain.
