I know you can take power from an Energy Collector to put into your own reserves, but is there a way to funnel energy from your reserves into a Collector?

Say I were to get a Powerplex Jewel, and wanted to put that energy into the Collector, so it wouldn't go to waste, am I able to do that? And if so, how?
