So I was wondering... how hard would it be to replace the tacked-on backspace characters with a truncation of the names? MUSHclient users have requested Nick (the author) to handle backspace characters as a form of after-the-fact text erasure, but he has chosen specifically not to do so for various reasons.
Given that MUSHclient is one of the more common clients used here, this change would help with an eyesore and certain script creation issues.

Tried the plugin. It acts screwy when it hits long names that are colored. I may have to ask him to look at that and make a change.
