I realize that much silly maybe I'm confused with what we are looking for. Impale is a delayed attack right? Is it suppose to keep working after it hits you once?

No - impalement is when you're impaled on something (antlers, a crucifix, a sword). That message ticks every so often while you are impaled.

I am not sure with impale gut but doesn't it "go away" if the BM uses his weapon again (the one he is using to impale)? since he would have to take it out to attack?

Hmm, yea, check which weapon he impaled with. If it was Aylin and Ildaudididiauduaididiadudid is right, then he uses it later to raze.

For sure... but it looks like he's using one weapon the entire time... unless he impaled you with Aylin, I guess... but he isn't using two Aylins is he?

Maybe the Absorption rune canceled it (as a bug)? I think remember Narsrim asking something similiar once about why he couldn't get out of a pit and it seemed happen every time his forcefield flared or whatever.

No, impale doesn't go away if the BM uses their weapon again. They cannot use their weapon while they have someone impaled on it. They have to rend to get back usage of it or withdraw it. Or the person writhes off.
It looks like there is a bug where you pacify the person and the impale is canceled. Well, it seems a bug anyway. My understanding was pacify is supposed to stop future actions, not necessarily cancel already existing conditions.

And if pacify really does cancel impale... is that the only thing it cancels? *chuckles* Would Harmony monks an advantage against an impaling BM.

It's pacify, as Catarin and Daganev observed. Similar thing happened to me with pinleg and chuuti the other day. Those two effects seem to be the only things it cancels though, I think grapples still work.
