It's much less, but it's percentage based.
Id is determined by current ego/max ego I believe. It does take into account how high of a max ego you have I think.

I think psychicvamp has a base damage plus a percentage. Kind of like amissio. At my lowest ego (a smidge under 3000) Forren drains over half my ego. This is also with a level 2 resistance.
As for ID, it is certainly current ego/max ego. I have 7 charisma and I think it is only marginally slower than when I max out my ego to around 7000. It might not be slower at all, and totally my imagination, I haven't done any testing. What I'm getting at is Id isn't any slower with illithoid cha than Mugwump cha.
