So, the title basically says it. I want to have my athame customized but I'm absolutely horrid with being creative in this way. There's so many talented people here (among some that forget I asked them to help *peer Xiel*), so I decided to see who of the forum would be so gracious to try to think of something. There's just a few things I'd like it to have, leather on the hilt, crystal/onyx mix of blade, and silver in there as well as glowing runes/traces of moonlight. The blade should also be somewhat jagged, like it was made from broken crystal. I hope that's enough to work with. The crystal can be pale blue or clear. Thanks in advance! If I can manage, I might give a small credit thank you to the person whose design I chose, but only if I can manage it.

Going to try, though it's a bit short.

a jagged athame of crystal shards

The blade of this athame is made of icy crystal, and is long and slightly jagged as if naturally formed, though the edges are sharp as shattered glass. Fine veins of onyx run through the crystal, strikingly dark against its flawless clarity, and the blade shimmers with a pale lustre, as if imbued with pure moonlight. The hilt of the athame is wrought of etched silver, and the grip is of dark leather, soft and supple to the touch. The pommel is also of silver, and is carved with two curving crescents on either side of a circle, symbolising the three aspects of the moon. Upon the gracefully curved cross-guard of the athame, mystic runes glow with blue fire, radiating a subtle yet potent power.

CODE
a lustrous athame of jagged crystal

A pale silver aura radiates from an athame thrust point down into the ground here.

Durable black leather wraps around the hilt of this athame, held in place by intricate silver wiring as the shape of the handle shows to be specifically molded to present a comfortable grip for the sole wielder of this blade. A sphere of onyx lays embedded into both sides of the cross-guard of the dagger, connecting the hilt to the actual blade as the sweeping curves of silver metal encircles the spheres and balances the athame perfectly. The blade itself shows the jagged edges of a crystal seemingly pulled from the depths of the earth, deathly sharp as the purity of the stone gives the appearance of an aura surrounding the perimeter of the athame.

See? I remembered. >.>

Probably too late, but I suppose I'll treat it as practice. happy.gif

a luminescent athame of serrated crystal

Limned with an ethereal glow, a crystalline athame lies on the ground here, pristine despite its apparent abandonment.

Crafted from purest crystal tinged with a subtle sky-blue hue, the blade of this athame resembles an artful fusion of broken shards, its jagged edges converging towards the tip with deadly purpose. Seamless bands of onyx fan gracefully down along its glassy length, the lines of ebony a stark contrast to the immaculate crystal; cryptic runes have been etched in flowing script upon the bands of midnight black, the ciphers awash with an ethereal sapphire glow. The hilt, sculpted from sterling silver, is snugly bound with strips of cured black leather, creating a better and more comfortable grip for the wielder. Wreathed in flowering vines fashioned from delicate silver filigree, the crossguard curves gently inwards towards the blade, echoing the arc of a crescent moon. Atop the hilt, a spherical pommel of clear crystal encompasses an exquisitely-detailed pixie wrought from glass, forever caught in the act of sprinkling sparkling sleepdust.

An Opalescent Athame of the Eclipse

Illluminating its surroundings, a small athame lies here, forgotten by its unlucky owner.

Wyvernskin binds the hilt of this wonderous piece of nature, giving a firm grip despite the surrounding weather. At the base of the hilt is a small crystal orb, containing a piece of moon rock. The stone glows according to the phases of the moon, from full moon to new. The blade is semitransparent, inscribed with various wiccan runes, glowing silver in the moonlight. Jagged edges protrude from each side of the blade, making this a deadly melee weapon, if it were to be used for such. The crossguard is silver, protruding into a woven basket around the hand, giving a small amount of protection to the fingers.

meh, it sucks, but might give you ideas
