I wanted the Pats to win, but that last quarter was awesome enough that I don't care.
Unknown2008-02-04 04:36:17
I usually root for the underdog but this time I really wanted to see NE achieve their pursuit of perfection. Oh well, a good story nonetheless!
Ildaudid2008-02-04 04:40:10
Great final part. Was hoping the Pats made a 3 pt kickaroo to tie it up though. Too bad, Giants had that creepy vet with no legs on their side, praying with them. NERF!!!!

I hate the superbowl >.> It is/was my birthday on superbowl and that brings back awful memories!
Kaalak2008-02-04 04:43:25
Darth Belichick has been defeated! All hail Eli Manning!
....though I do have to say Randy Moss and Brady did worry me when there were 20 seconds left.

I rooted for the Packers (as required by state law). I was disappointed by their loss.
Druken2008-02-04 04:49:55
... the Packers weren't in the Superbowl? If they were, I would have been SO much more excited.
Verithrax2008-02-04 04:49:58
Obligatory mention of how much American football sucks.

o_o I made little shirts and mass-bought teddies from the super market and put the shirts on the teddies and sold them to the crazy fans. (Giants and Patriots shirts, different names on the back).
Bought 100 teddies for $5. Had the shirt material from a long time ago. Sold the Shirt-wearing Teddies for $20 each.
>_> Thank you, Super Bowl XLII.

Heh, one year I sold Roethenberger (however ya spell that messed up name) beef jerky that was being sold in the local stores here for 1.00 on ebay to people who were paying a hell of a lot more.... I made some fast cash on that stuff

Let this be a lesson to all of those teams that rest their players heading into the postseason.
That's right, Colts, I'm looking at your punk asses that gifted the Titans with their playoff spot and consequently busted yourselves out of the playoffs (or so I'm at least allowed to argue now). I shall forever look upon you with disfavour that I have only ascribed to one team before. Now though, since you've been shown up thoroughly, I feel comfortable giving you runner-up in the mind-numbingly lame category right behind Roethlisberger and those Steelers.

What a anticlimatic ending.

I do think the Pats coach should have stayed on the field until the end. I just got the feeling he was being a bad sport by entering the tunnel when there was 1 second left. Although I would have probably done the same thing. But I always got Unsatisfactory in "Plays well with others" though.

I wanted the Pats to win, but alas.
But my favorite commercial was the pepsi max one where everyone kept falling asleep, then the dad pushing his kid on the swing fell asleep and got knocked out.
OR the coke one with the giant balloons, that was hilarious.
And as a side note: Did anyone watch that commercial about like..a sales website and there were pandas who owned a shop? After we watched it my whole family was silent until my brother went: "..Was that racist?"

My friends and I did that too...that one was awful.
But Yay Giants!! It was incredible walking home from my friends' place...the whole city was going nuts (NYC).
