Could a skill marked CURRENTBATTLE be introduced into the Influence skill? In a large group of denizens, such as guards or demons, an attempt to INFLUENCE ARCHDEMON will cause you to work on the first denizen on the list who can be influenced. What this ends up causing, on occassion, can be two ego battles going on at the same time. When this happens, it can be a brutal loss of XP! So, what I propose is the skill CURRENTBATTLE. It gives you the denizen numbers of any denizen you are currently in an egobattle with. Good idea?

It is entirely better to just use the unique names for influencing.

Its very much needed.
Also, not all that hard to code, since the mobs allready can only be influenced by one person at a time.

Thank you, Daganev. And good idea, Revan- I've never been a fan of runaway denizens, in bashing or influencing.

Amen to that. They don't run away when you smack them with cold steel, so why do they run away when you smack them with cutting wit?

to be honoust that is the only difficulty in influencing, for the rest it is just too easy. Until influencing gets revamped it is the only reason anyone needs to be ATK for influencing
@Daganev: I never had problems with remembering what denizen I am influencing, when you use unique names the problem is solved (except for the occasional tosha monk dissapearing without warning and appearing in an entirely different, non adjacent room but that is just because I am to lazy to go look for him)
(and targeting is really not that hard when using a clicking script)

Well, I don't know what's wrong with running away mobs for bashing purposes... heck, I'd run fast if I was them.
But... for the influencing... them leaving the room, just doesn't make sense...

I've added a line to "analyze" that tells you if a mob is currently engaged in a debate with you. Thanks for the idea!

For the same reason that players leave the room during a battle.
