Okay, so I've become rather bored with Xbox, and I need something to fill the hours usually spent staring at homework, notes, and TV. I'm using Nexus, and I normally use manual cures, but it's not working out because combat is so fast that I barely have time to notice what I'm afflicted with while still trying to keep up the pressure. I have a basic set of reflexes, mainly for applying regen to body parts and then rewielding weapons, etc.
My gear includes the following:
Waraxe: 365.302.193
Greataxe: 188.494.162
Klangaxe: 70.348.278
Fieldplate: 85/80 cut/blunt
Greathelm: 88/73 cut/blunt
Old maneuvers list:

Head Strike Behead, slitthroat, and ringingear
I'm lvl 73, 6k in gold, and a single ring with Perfection.
So here's where I need help:
1) Where can I bash to start climbing the exp ranks
2) What fighting styles should I focus on; damage, wounding, speed?
3) Are maneuvers useful or should I use manual commands for flexibility?
4) Is there any way to script a system that would display what I'm afflicted with in a more noticeable way than trying to hastily diag every five seconds? I'm more interested in being a manual curer than setting up reflexes so that I can keep control over what I'm curing when, but having to rely on quick reading and recall is very frustrating.
5) Does anyone have a method of keeping track of their hits/misses? I'm usually so focused on keeping myself alive that I can never keep track of what I'm doing to my opponent.

Get ethelons mush client system its a good spend of 25 credits i think it is. bash up teh creds and get the system working and youll have rather good defence or if you use cmud see somone about trying to get palasides system.

There isnt a Palisade for Cmud, just Zmud.

My CMUD system is completely different from Palisade, and it's not ready yet (pending updates to the client itself).
Pretty much any combat system could be adapted to let you do the cures manually. Most will track things while paused, and you could then do something (timer, macro, or however you like) to echo your afflictions and the corresponding cures you need. Why you'd do that is beyond me, but to each his own, I guess...
