I like the idea of having a few ships which are meant mainly for their ability to blast a hole through something, or at least lay down enough missiles to knock a crater into the ground. When I think bombardment, the general image I get is an area of complete destruction, where only hard earth is left.

Would it be too easy to make a joke about Paladins and ur'Guard? Jedi, Dark Jedi, and Sith?
