I've been looking into Rowena's history, and I notice that she is called both Nightshade and Darkshade. Now, I knew this beforehand, but I always assumed she was Darkshade pre-taint, Nightshade post-taint. However, that doesn't appear to be the case as she is called Nightshade in the meeting with the Hallifax Board of Governors (Though, was this must have been changed because Guido made mention of it in a previous thread where it was in fact 'Darkshade' in two instances in that passage. So does that mean it was an accident that was corrected (Almost--It still says Darkshade in the passage where she proclaims "..Am I not Rowena Darkshade!.." which is actually post-taint.)
So am I correct in assuming that my previous assumption was something of a widely-believed but ultimately inaccurate bit of canon propagated by the players?
Except that the name Darkshade is really quite unforgettable now, at least to me. Woe.

I read somewhere that she was, originally, Rowena Darkshade. Then, praising the newly-changed-and-more-OP-Night, she changed her name to Rowena Nightshade, so that she, too, could join in on Night's victory party.
I don't know for sure, though...
