Yes, but a cherub shouldn't cause you to die, and it was Thoros fault for allowing ripple to effect him. He can change his size at will. The point in general was that it is possible to kill with other ways than inquisition/soulless.

I've absolved Thoros before one on one, but since it just happened, I posted the log.

Also, you would know that we've faught in ripple before and won-ripple shouldn't make or break you, either. All in all, Thoros was just beaten without any real excuse.

Talkan, those who are not blinded by IC or OOC dislike of you know that you are a good fighter. There isn't a need to try to convince the rest. These are the people who claim that Geb is not a very good fighter, any of their losses are due to either OP skills, their systems breaking, the other person's level, or the sun being in their eyes. Um... why did you post a log of you teaming Thoros with Catarin in ripple with an angel stunning? I don't get what this is meant to prove :/

Catarin came in late in the fight. It was Thoros and I for most of the time. And, her few sword swings had nothing to do with absolve. Whether she were there or not, the outcome would have been the same.

Still, you should realize full well that attacking someone in ripple with angels stunning them also is not exactly something that proves your combat skill.

Catarin, if Thoros posted a log of him killing you on Nil with demons in the room and ripple hitting, you'd say it was a skill-less victory. And so would I. And we'd both be right.

Talkan certainly has skill but this log isn't exactly proof of that.

As I noted earlier, Thoros could have fully avoided stun at all if he chose, and one cherub is not the end of the world. The major reason Thoros lost is because he was beaten. It shows that (as I've already said) Inquisition/Soulless isn't the only viable kill for a Celestine.

Stupidity and Anorexia really messed Thoros up in this log, it wasn't the ripple or the cherub.

It's ok Sham. Talkan's one of those people who goes "wow, I can whore cheap kills with ezPK class, I must know my :censor:!" and thinks their opinion is worth something. I mean, sure he's gotten better since the "I can't gank for :censor:" days, but he's still got a loooong way to go to catch up to us big boys. I wasn't really commenting on this particular log. I was commenting on Balizar's statement and the statements directed at Talkan regardless of where or how he gets the kill. This log doesn't "prove" anything except Thoros was a little too sure of himself and didn't leave when he should have/could have.

I wasn't really saying "it doesn't take skill to be a celestine" or "if you are a celestine you have no skill" or "talkan is a hack" I was just "loling" at quicken+absolve. Thats all! Yeesh!
