Greetings everyone,

Let me first start off by saying HAI to everyone I haven't talked to in a while. Last Thursday I hurt my foot and just yesterday I was diagnosed with Compartment Syndrome (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compartment_syndrome). They decided I needed emergency surgery to get all the blood and fluid out of my foot before my muscles or tissues were permantly damaged. They made two 2 inch incensions on the top of my foot and then 1 about 4 inch one across the arch. They need to let it drain for a few days and then are going to need to take a skin graph to close it back up.

Without bringing IC stuff too much into OOC, I just want to thank the Shadowdancers for electing me as Champion and I'm very sorry this happened when it did. If you feel you need to elect someone else in my absence, I completely understand, but I would like my chance to prove myself.

Even though I'm heavily medicated on Dilaudid, I'm still on AIM every once in a while from my room if any of you want to say HAI. My aim name is: imp311.

I'm just not squeemish (except about a few things - like sharing toothbrushes. And mucus. Oh, and the sound of someone else puking. But blood? Nah.) and I bet his foot looks cool in that really gross way. Haven't you ever had a friend get hurt and they show off their wound and your reaction is a mix of "Ack!" and "Wow!"

eta: Not that I think it's cool that Luxi got hurt or is in the hospital! Its more like... you know how you want to sign someone's cast when they break a bone? To commiserate and make it into something cool and less awful and all? Well, you know, can't sign a cast from here (not that there's a cast involved, but still) but I can look at the pics you know. Ugh. I'm explaining so badly. And I've made myself out to be some kind of freak.

Luxi's wound picture would be a quasi-physical manifestation of this deep-rooted desire of hers, so she naturally presses him to post one up, that she may feast upon it in her twisted fantasies.

She covers up her heart of darkness (konrad anyone?) with an endless barrage of smilies and sickening veneer of irrepressible bubbliness; but beneath it all is a monster before whom the twisted pervert, the heartless murdered and the gore-licked psychopath would pale in comparison.
