Hi! I'd like to solicit some feedback from the forum community to help me get better. I'm working with a ramshackle homemade tinyfugue "system" that does curing, sipping, and a few other things. I've attached a recent log that shows my perspective of a fight against a knight (Serenguard tracker), which have been the bane of Eamon's existence for a long time.
Synopsis:
Wargames in the Glade of Champions.
Teams: Eamon, Akui, Cas, and Alura VS Amarok. (Yes, it was 4v1, and yes, the 1 won)
This is the second half of the wargame. Cut the first half for uploading space reasons, and also because it wasn't all that interesting from my point of view. Before this, Alura and Cas each got separated in turn, either through tackles or traps, and some seconds later we see them succumbed to bleeding. At the start of this log, Akui and Eamon are left, fighting Amarok. Basically, we have a hard time keeping him still long enough to do irreparable harm, but he can't fight the both of us at once. Near the end, a trap separates us, and Eamon gets stuck with collapsed lung and a couple other nasties, and it's lights out for him.
Feedback is welcome on both:
(1) strategies used during the fight... what could Eamon and Akui have done better? Any skill combinations that would have worked here?
(2) any gaping holes you see in the curing... until recently, I had -zero- deepwounds healing, and this is kind of a first cut at getting that working. It seems to at least TRY and cure deepwounds, but can't keep up very well. Seems I spend all my elixir balance on keeping my health up, maybe drop that threshold?
Any comments are most appreciated!
PS - Only just realized that I suppressed the prompt when logging, but you do get to see what I send to cure and some of the echoes I use. Anytime I'm sipping health, I'm below about 0.7 max, and anytime I touch medicinebag or read a healing scroll, I'm below 0.5 max.

Feel free to tell me what my silly mistakes were as well... but note that my reflexes lagged in the arena match before this, and a burnt off a bunch of power right after exiting, resulting in me starting with 9 total power and 0 reserves after defences in the match.
I'm still in the "wow, look at all the pretty text fly by" phase too.

His leaving and being pulled into tree was hurting you. Did you embed any runes? Cen or such could be of help being passive. You needed to keep him near, the fact he would get pulled up could only hurt your cause as he just gets more time to cure. If anything you might want to try to pull everyone into the trees and get him.
Sap is your friend, but dont use it till you have a way to stick it!
Needed to try to hinder more than vines, especially if Akui had something he could do. Pinleg and vines are nice together.. if he gets pinlegged and you sap you have a better chance of holding him for awhile.
Meh anyway I will let other people comment, I aint thinking entirely clearly.
Have fun and good luck!

1. Not sure if you were tracking the timberwolf's clamping correctly, as it seemed you didn't writhe automatically and kept trying to mend your arms instead.
2. Need to correct what prevents you from standing, as you tried very hard to stand with a pinned leg, among other things.
3. Looks like your deep wounds curing isn't based on what's most damaged and goes in the standard order of body parts instead. Might want to alter that logic a bit to fix things that are critical before things that are trifling, though I know it's a good idea to avoid certain things getting too wounded in certain scenarios, too.
4. Amarok climbs down quickly, in most cases, so you either need to wait for him in the trees and hit sap the second he is pulled up or else stay on the ground and just fight him there.
5. You both did fairly well in terms of removing his defenses, such as rebounding and protection, but highlights and/or variables to track statuses could really help. Akui was razing speed more than anything, and you tried to dissolve his protection when he didn't have it.
6. It looks like the collapsed lungs ran you out of endurance, and that's a very bad place to be in any fight. I've killed people who simply gave up because they couldn't even lift a weapon or walk out of the room any more.
7. Parry and stance play a big role against warriors, not to mention the aura of rebounding. I'm assuming you were stancing your legs (as anyone can do that, and not many spend lessons on Combat until later in their training) and you did shift your parry somewhat. Didn't see you smoke faeleaf once, though!

Thanks so much for the feedback; these are precisely the kind of comments I was hoping for.
To reply a little:
- I did embed some runes at the beginning, but neglected to after he ran through the plains. Also having a hard time thinking of good slinging combinations, since unmasked afflictions are generally easy to cure. The stupidity/paralysis combo I was slinging here is more annoying than anything, I expect. Any ideas?
- Treelife vs No Treelife? This is always an issue in group fighting... some people get really peeved if treelife is up, even with treebane. But to get sap, you need people in the trees...
- (subpoint @ Malarious) I see where the sap was mistimed, and he cured it right away. I usually try to time treelife-rest of effects-sap to happen within a second or so, so that the paralysis keeps him sapped until I get eq back, then start vining/paralysis/etc lockdown. Here, treelife got out of synch with the other effects, though.
- also, I think Akui's a pureblade, so no pinleg. But I get the idea.
- point 3 of Zarquan... yes, that's a good idea, I'll have to check that
- point 6... this is exactly what happened, and after I couldn't move, I did basically give up. Is there any way to get back endurance once you've lost a lot of it?
Again, thanks to those who replied!

raise cudgel to get people into the trees after they are hindered (watch for a pinleg + parlysis maybe?) then raise cudgel, and sap. It's sorta hard to do without treelife though and only on druid. I'll read the log and offer a bit more later. This is just in response to the responses

Above post was me, sorry forgot to log in.
I'd suggest timing your treelife closer to when your meld fires (maybe 2 or even 1 second) CLimb up before treelife fires so you can vine when they are up. Personally, I use treelife as the meld fires. Prevents them from just climbing down, but it does let them cure a bit before I sap.
