How do I not die like every time pvp?

I'm a circle 71 nihilists, master viscanti and frankly I just suck censor.gif at pvp combat. Could someone show me how I'm supposed be fighting as a guardian or was I just fated to die miserably.

Train with Thoros or Malarious

Why buy a system?

The free ones are of more than enough quality for a beginning combatant. Some of them are of high enough quality for an advanced combatant. Telling someone they need to buy a system to participate in combat is highly misleading.

Ok, let me say this, then.

I have purchased a system. Before I did so, I had to make my own in nexus, and it sucked. The system I have now, I paid a small price for, I can use it on any character I wish. I get updates all the time, have a clan JUST for the system. I can honestly say this system has saved my life numerous times.

Now, I'm not saying a free system isn't as good. But, you get what you pay for, plain and simple.

MUSH is free, cMUD isn't, so there's some tradeoff there.

Participate in wargames, or spar with other people. Then save your logs and try to find out where you succeed and where you fail.


And yeah, a system would really freaking help...

Nezha posted his Mushclient system for free, and it's not bad, not bad at all.

Also great to learn from, if your interested in building upon it and learning some Lua along the way, neither of which are a bad thing.

What exactly do you have problems with?
Is it offense, curing or just "stuff happens, blam blam, I'm dead"?
Make sure you have every curative - herbs, potions, all the crap necessary. Greatrobes don't hurt either.
Get a system if you can't make one. Ethelon's free is outdated but decent. Good for starters, and when you get advanced enough you'll update it by your own, easily.
What is your tertiary skill, and what pacts do you have?
