I think that you should be able to buy the following pet addons for class ents (demons, fae, angels, turtles, wyrms etc.)
Sentience - 150 credits
Reactions - 25 credits each
Mailing pet - 75 credits (flying only)
They would not reset to you, you would have to resummon it when it dies.
You can choose a new name for 1000 gold as normal and it will stay the same, even if the ent dies. No new short, long, extended, enter, leave or death descriptions. Attack messages still show up the same, as do all skill messages.
This suggestion is purely for RP and is intended to have 0 use in combat.

I like this idea, but I don't know if it is possible because you get a different ent every time you summon one. So you really have to roleplay it through (this is for Angels, at least, I believe). Otherwise I wouldn't see why not...

It could function similarly to the symbol/cudgel/athamae/staff/sickle customisations or mage/druid artifact weapons

Problem with that becomes an unkillable Angel/Demon/whatever. Which would be bad.

As I said, it would not reset. It stays dead untill you resummon it. The only differece is that it produces the same one every time instead of creating a new one.

Gosh darn internets

I'm against this for two reasons
1. It replaces pets in a way, which are a major source of $$$ for the game
2. people would poorly RP their etourages

Even if you have to pay the normal pet price to get this done?

Speak Simba Speak!
He usually is rather quiet...
I want a Simba I can keep, even when I leave Nihilists. An archdemon and all.
Invincible ents wouldnt be too bad.. make them passive when they would 'die' so they didnt just continually attack. I think I might have to buy an investment Simba pet if I could get one.

They've already stated they'll never make ents immortal, but I do like the idea of being able to send a cherub to deliver mail
Malarious2008-05-04 23:57:32
Then I shall have to make one the old fashioned way... Its name is Simba.. short etc etc etc
Wouldnt be investable but its in loving memory of!
