Well, for once, Australia got something before America, so ha, I finally win something! In a more serious note, is anyone going to get this and play it online, I'm definately gonna since I need something to tide me over until Brawl finally comes out.

Do Australian Wiis have different... Reader-thingies.. Than American Wiis? Can't you just order from Amazon.com or get one of your fabulous Lusty friends to send you the game?

I don't think so, however that only makes it worse. There can't be that much to change in brawl that requires such a long delay

I was kinda suprised that the online play for Mario kart actually worked flawlessly, a pleasant suprise indeed!

Wii's like the other nintendo consoles are region locked, which means if it was out in Europe, I could get it from there, but I cant however get it from America or Japan. The long delay from what we've been told has to do with the factory nintendo uses to produce their double sided discs.

He means Dual-Layered. Smash is the first Wii game to use a Dual-Layered Disc.
Also, as a semi-related note, the DS is not region-locked. So you can import games for it all you want without a problem.

Ok, well the gamecube and Wii are region locked, not sure about 64, or Snes since they're ancient now.

I loathe DK Summit. I just cannot get the half-piping down, and get bogged down in the snow drifts. That track alone has annihilated my online rating.
Unknown2008-05-03 11:24:42
It's easy, when you come around the corner into the half pipe, you grap the zippers and just aim up the side, grab the air jump-boost, and then aim across to the other side, and repeat, drift around the corner and you're done, takes a bit of practice, but it's not as bad as some tracks.
