A new type of enemy status

This is raised due to gorgogs, and i think it might help a little

Right now there is one enemy status. You get no more avenger protection in the area, and the Mobs of the zone gank you.

I've thought of a new status, called "Militant against"

It's a temporary condition, maybe an IG year. You get it from killing someone in the area, or doing a quest against them.

Example...Doman kills Gorgog

*You have been declared militant against the mighty pwnzor gorgogs, and thus are considered a threat, it will expire in # months."

In this status, you keep avenger protection, but enemies there still attack you

After this, if you kill enough denizens in the area in a given day, you gain full enemy status, but if you keep in moderation your "Militant count" just resets.

I'm trying to find a happy medium, what do you guys think?

Edit: I am extremely tired, so please note any flaws in my logic, and suggest a fix

Too much work. I'd rather see the current system being fixed than to complicate it more.

I'd rather see the current system removed, but that's just because I haven't had a clear PK Status list since Bashara was 25...

Anyway, I support any and all constructive changes to the Avenger system. However, I think that unless Lusternia has any extra Admins, we should put any other major, nonemergency changes on hold.

Yeah, after a good night's sleep, this idea is pretty crappy. It wouldn't solve anything

I think if you attack denizens in an area you should be an enemy of that area. This means that other denizens of the area would attack you and you wouldn't be able to do quests or get services there. But Avenger would still protect you from people NOT from that area. The only difference is if you are an enemy of a village and the village is under a shere of influence, then those whose nation the village follows have free PK.

I think it's unfair that people from let's say New Celest are allowed to gank a Magnagoran in the Merian Isles simply because the Mag is an enemy of the Isles. The Isles do not belong to Celest or anyone, so no one should be able to have free PK. And you can substitute any nation and any place, I just chose the ones I did since those were the most recent change.
