Or there's no chili base noun and you fail for not using II, or remembering what you typed to buy the chili.

Bugs shouldn't be posted on the forums, however at a cursory glance at the situation, you probably should go by the noun in II (info inv), versus a word from its brief description.
In this instance, you'd be better off using 'noodles', not 'chilli', since that's the item I'm guessing you're trying to feed it (a plate of chilli seafood noodles).
